As above, got myself a nice little Uno as a project. Have been using it whilst i repair the Sei (gearbox out tonight actually).

Has now covered 108k, still goes like a rocket. Bought it with a load of spares. Need some doors as they've rotted at the bottom like normal. Will be coming off the road for the winter to have the inside gutting and the holes plated up.

Have already got some lowering bits, rear strut brace and Weber 34 DATR Twinchoke from an X1/9.

Car is by far better to drive than any Cinquecento or Sei in my opinion, so much more comfortable, even comes with oversteer  .

I've never driven an Uno, so maybe I'll have to put one on my 'to do' list.
And you'll have to educate me here. Its a 60S, so I would assume it was a 60hp, but the E-reg must be too early for a 'fire' engine, so whats under the bonnet?

It has the 1116cc Lampredi SOHC engine 60hp running weber twin choke 32 carb and electronic ignition and 5 speed box :)

Having driven an Uno for a year there brilliant fun cars, with the right suspension setup they handle really well and are very controllable but even as standard are partial to a considerable amount of oversteer when being pushed

Just wikipedia Fiat Uno dude, much quicker than me typing it.

Main concern is rust, rear turrets and floor underneath the front pillars, Emma's other half will be able to tell you more. :)
