There must be a good system out there for the Cinquecento. I think apart from a new head gasket kit i've got everything for my 1242 swap now. Only another 12 weeks and i'll be ready to do the swap.

Not too bad considering new for the Cinquecento back box is £175 not including the centre pipe :P

Yeah I know,I don't think it's too bad for the back box and centre pipe considering just the backbox for the Cinquecento is £175 new I know it's second hand but it looks pretty new!

I've taken the head off and had it skimmed. The head gasket was completely fried. Re seated the valves and currently in the process of removing the engine paint and going to give it a fresh coat. Should look good.

Wasn't cheap i admit but very good condition indicates nearly new. Looked online and the same system is around £265 plus postage so thought id get it and saves having to sit back and wait for one to land on my lap :-)

Well im a bit shy about starting new threads :o , not, but my insurance is due for renewal on July 24th at 23.59 so my plan is this;
I have a week off starting 7th July so will have the engine stripped of old paint and then repainted, once i can decide which colour, by then i will also have refurbished and repainted the alloys i bought,have an idea what colour and detailing i want, gasket set will have been purchased, will have asked Pete Jules and Craig endless questions and the swap will be ready to begin. Still need to source or fabricate a spacer for the 40mm Tricker TB. So to cut a long story short, will start the thread on....July 7th :D
