Picked up some 14" Lancia alloys cheap. Looking at sticking a new set of tires on but to try and keep the rolling radius as similar to standard as possible I am opting for a 175 50 14. Unfortunately there isn't much choice even though this is the standard size for the seicento 14" wheel!

What sizes are others using? I want to try and steer clear of spacers as much as possible. But if I have to use them I will.

Thanks

what brand tires do you use for the 175 50 14? i can only find pirelli p6000, which get awful reviews and are really expensive, nankangs and solar which are budget and get iffy reviews at best. havnt tried any tire places yet, but they usually have a shockingly poor choice.

do you use spacers at all?

thanks

195/45 R14's are also close to the 165/55 R13 rolling radius iirc

I think continental made some.

Will probably need 10mm spacers to fit 195 width tires. 185 don't quite fit on the back as they are too wide.

Want to stay away from spacing any more than 5mm ideally.

Are the alloys wide enough for 195s?

If've had 195/45/14 several times... some (most of the)times they run into the fenders.
All depends on your ET and Jot. You will need 6.5 wide instead of 5 or 5.5 and the ET is different... to much of a hassle.

my rims are 6 wide, using 185/50 R14s, but if I can't get them I might try the 195/45's in the future. Rims are ET38 (or -38?) so need 10mm spacers, but I also have 16mm spacers if needed.
