Exciting update! - really not.

Bought a standard exhaust, fitted by a garage because i am extremely lazy!

I refitted the front arch liner things that i took off when i was doing the under-seal, got so frustrated with them i got the jig-saw out and cut them in half and they fit way better now!

Don't blame you for getting the exhaust fitted, they can be a right pain!

The arch liners are more trouble than there worth on the p reg soliel they have trapped the mud and grim under them and caused surface rust ! I prefer it without them tbh

Well i had them all under-sealed anyway
I might just put the front half's on to stop it spraying over the engine.
But i do agree with you!

I had some rust trouble today i jacked it up from the jacking point on the drivers front and it just crumbled away!
So ill just rust treat it and under-seal it again then in the summer patch it.
Since its got 12months MOT anyway.

I try to get the trolley jack under the rear mount for the front suspension arms.

i jack up on the sills and then stick the axle stands on the rear mounting for the suspension arms :)

i wouldnt want to jack the car up on the "jacking points" as they are in the floor pan and dont have any strength, surely!!!!!?

Same as Pete, I always go for the rear arm mount.

Wish i could get my car onto the drive!

Most of the cars on my street look like the Cinquecento sitting on the floor!

Been meaning to get to work on Jif last few days, but weathers been awful and i have been lazy!
My wheels that i got blasted in the summer are still unpainted under my bed.
I got all the suspension to change still and a fuel leak some place(guessing the filler pipe)

Ontop of that a little rust problem to sort too!
Well i didn't mind that the rust broke up, would rather it do that then spread and have a heap more trouble! - i do normally jack it up on the rear beam if im at the back.

Been driving the little beast a lot more now im bikeless! about 500miles a week!
Have to say never really pushed a Cinquecento before normally just my shopping trolley, but cheap tyres + worn out suspension + wet road = lots of fun!
took the lanes the other night and there's plenty of understeer and some random oversteer too!
Loving it! :D
