This is NOT intended to be another sales pitch for you to pay to join the Club, but just a little note to the 'forum only' users about what you may be missing out on.

The members of this club are a friendly bunch. I only joined last year and I have saved my membership fee many times over, here are some of my experiences.

I have bought from Fluffy the Impaler. His prices are very impressive. I saved my membership fee in my first purchase.

I am now insured through Chris Knott Insurance (the clubs official insurer), saving me about £25 on this years premium. And they are the best insurance company I have ever dealt with. You do NOT get put in a phone queue, a receptionist will take your number and call back (very promptly too) if they are busy.

And there is loads of free stuff going about too. I have received an air filter and a set of uprated brake pads, both FOR FREE from other members. In return I have sent stuff out to other members too, the odd bit free, other bits for just enough to cover postage. Its a Karma thing :D .

This is not to say if you join you will be inundated with offers of free things, its just that if you say you need something, chances are someone will send it out to you. Air filter, brake pads, light connector, throttle body top bob, custom made throttle butterflies. These are all the things I have so far sent or been sent for nothing.

And I haven't even told you about the 'exup and monkey' section that we sometimes refer to as the 'funnies' section :D

There, I hope you didn't think it was a sales pitch, I am just happy as this morning I had a set of free brake pads turn up on my doorstep. 8) and i needed to tell the world.

(PS, didn't know where to post this, so please move if its not meant to be in this section  )

Aww, I got a mention

I couldn't agree more with the above. If I'm only going to name one example of where I have saved money, only this morning a received a part from Fluffy that was £80 cheaper than what Fiat would have sold it to me, you do the maths...

On top of the money saving reasons for joining, you get to meet new people who are a great bunch and weekends away are being organised quite often. Trips have included going up to the Lakes, York, long weekends to the Isle of Man, and not to mention the variety of places that we've been to with the clubs AGM.

There's also the technical section which has a whole host of fixit yourself goodies. If something were to go wrong with your cento, I'm almost 100% certain that its happened to another member that will be able to advise you.

Granted, ClubCento isn't the cheapest car club devoted to Cinquecento and seis as there are free alternatives out there BUT this is the only one that I have stayed with (and I'm tight with my money!). We are also the most widely recognised, type in Cinquecento Car Club into Google and you'll see that Clubcento is not only top of the list but the only club on that first page. We also have a mention in the Adrian Flux links page.

I can speak freely, I'm not a member of the committee writing this to get more members in the club, I'm simply a member who is passionate about his car and wants the best group of people behind it....

Cool thread guys.

Sounds much better coming from you lot - anything I wrote would sound like spin :P

The best thing I can say is that without Clubcento I would have probably lost interest in 'centos years ago - wouldn't have half the friends I have now, and wouldn't have gone to half of the places I have been to.

Clubcento is not just a car club - for me it is a lifestyle. 8)

This is going to sound like a very silly question, but how do you fill out the menbership form online? I have downloaded it but I can't type any information onto it. Help for the thicko hear would be very welcome. cheers

Absolutely. We probably have over 100 years of combined experience!

Plus if we need to refer to 'the bible' I have a copy of the genuine factory service manual with detailed specifications on every key component.

T'is all true... without Clubcento my Cinquecento would have died a death by now, I wouldn't have discovered the joy of track racing in my go-kart, never mind the £££ saved thanks to specialist insurance and discount parts 8)
