Weird how they play around with things.
The new thermostat i put in Rusty last weekend says 82'c on the housing not 87'c like the old one did.

ok seen as I can now feel my hands when outside, I am nearly ready to change the stat! :dancin:

Just a couple of questions.

How much anti freeze does the Cinquecento need?
Also what the mix ratio?

i used autochem its good and cheap as chips as i like to change mine every 6 months :lol:

i use this but the blue one at 50/50 mix http://www.gsfcarparts.com/976aa0300 can be brought on ebay too i think and its 4 liters at 50/50 so you need two bottles of this

About four litres, euro car parts is cheap for stuff like coolant. They have the mix ratios on the back.

just to ask I have some gasket blue stuff, will that be ok for the stat?

Also do I put it on both sides of the gasket?

Finally getting round to do some jobs! Not helped by our stupid weather! 8)

What temp should it run at normally?

80-85 on the motorway, up to 90 odd when stuck in traffic on a hot day.

For town driving probably around the 90 mark but will obviously vary with speed and load.
