So the story goes....... Yesterday morning went to put my seatbelt on and it was wet, had a feel around by the back seat and there was water running down from inside the boot and working its way along the inside to the front seatbelt so i pulled the belt out and left it to dry whilst it was parked up at work.

I knew the rear light seals were about knackered (verified by wet boot carpet) so i put new bulbs in them last night and got the silicone out and resealed them, job done i thought but it seamed not this morning when i had the same problem being the wet seatbelt.

I know the rear window seal on that side doent leak so it cant be water running down from there and i took everything out of the boot last night and the boot floor is nice and dry so its not coming from there anymore, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Im going to take the rear door card panel thing off later and have a closer inspection and see what i can find.

Check the sill drain holes and the integrity of the metal in the area.

Found it, it has been leaking in round the door latch and dripping directly onto the seat belt mechanism. I took the latch off and put loads of sealant under and around it and it's done the trick, took a while to find mind you.

Some one should collect all these leaking threads up and point to them from a single, erm, article that would be somewhere very easy to find.

Mine is leaking and I don't know from where. Except the two front lower corners inside the read side windows. The hinges and seals appear to not be leaking. Can't see where it's coming from. Car is soaking in there now and this week I needed wipers INSIDE the front screen.

Rear light seals are a favourite, sunroof and mine had a rotten battery tray when I got her. I suffer with the rear windows leaking too but they have a rag stuffed in either corner to soak up the water
