I have a 1108cc gearbox from the schumi mpi car i broke a few years ago in my garage. Would this gear box fit a 1108cc spi engine or even a 1242cc 8v spi engine?

Thanks

Aren't the engines the same apart from they have a different head as they have a camsensor in sure they would fit as I know the 1108 gearbox fits on the 1.2 16v

mpi's used the MK2 Punto gearbox and had different ratios to the spi's.

Also they used different clutches.

Need to check a few things. The driveshafts are different on some MPIs, as is the mount between gearbox and body.

Also the non-Sportings have longer gear ratios.

The Schuey basicaly has the same C514 (dry shafts) gearbox as the Cinquecento /Seic sporting, but the final drive is 3.867 (58/15), so probably different to the Cinquecento..?
