noticed certain charcters don't display properly

for example the pound symbol

IE6 :head: work won't let us update...

has happened since server migration

had to go through events list deleting loads of hyroglphics (sp)

i agree. I see that around the pound symbols sometimes, however it has come up normally in here... Strange.

Server migration wouldnt have had any effect as the old and new are identical. I'll take a look when I get home on my IE6 machine, but as said above - the £ sign looks fine to me

As a web developer, I can hand on heart say that IE6 is poop and we now charge extra for builds that need to work in that particular browser. Give your IT department some stick and tell them to upgrade :D
